Liam’s curated music workshop/library is the ideal space for sonic experiments, focused study and furthering outcomes.

Instruments and gadgets line every corner of available space in my modern, fully-equipped studio environment.

Based in rented office space at AIE, Watson, there is always a buzz of creativity going on. You may see medieval weaponry and armour walking by, video cameras and big screen televisions, cranes and gimbles; it’s all part of the interactive experience that is Film Pus and Game Plus. Liam’s studio sits unobtrusively in the heart of a co-working space, shared with Australia’s upcoming and established game developers.

FAQs

What do I need to begin?

An instrument to practise on. Time to commit and a drive towards progressing your skillset.

Will I need a music book?

Yes. Where possible, students should aim to work progressively through a method book that sets increasingly more challenging pieces, as well as memorising scales, keys, chord changes etc.

Will I have to perform?

No. But if you would like to be part of a concert, you are invited to contribute. Note that this could involve being an audience member, helping with catering, usher or any voluntary capacity that suits you.

Will I be assessed as part of the music tuition?

The best assessment is self-assessment. You can expect to set goals and work towards these with or without a tutor, if you would like written feedback at the end of term, it can be provided.
